Roger C01/05/2024Best ever B & B We chose this b & b on the basis of the reviews and can only say that Harvey deserves all of the recommendations . It is a lovely late Victorian house with many original features but tastefully modernised. We spent 4 nights in a large, well fitted bedroom with a spacious bathroom and an enormous bed. The milk and biscuits ready for us in the room each day plus the breakfast cooked to order, the honesty bar (which we did not use but was good value), and the information and advice that our host offered gave us all made a first holiday in the North East really special. Alnmouth is delightful and based on Harvey's advice we had great food in pubs and restaurant all within a few yards. We must return soon.

Mandy S01/04/2024Perfect Weekend at St Valery BB This Boutique B&B was first class. We have just spent the Easter Bank Holiday there - stayed three nights and enjoyed every minute. The room was delightful and the bathroom/toiletries were luxurious. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows amazing! A small but important touch for me was the fresh milk provided with the tea/coffee and biscuits - such a small thing but so few places do this! You can tell that Harvey goes the extra mile - the perfect host - along with his lovely dog Roxy. Breakfast was freshly made and top quality. The house is lovely and Harvey makes sure you have everything you need. It is obvious he has spent a lot of time and money making this establishment first class! Alnmouth is a beautiful village on the Northumberland Coast and well worth a visit. We look forward to visiting again in the future - thank you Harvey for making our trip so enjoyable.
Kerry01/04/2024Wonderful stay My husband and I are just returning home from a 3 night stay at St Valery. Exquisite b and b and a lovely host in Harvey. Our room was pristine and we enjoyed having the bath in our room. The breakfast was delicious. St Valery is located next to a lovely pub and 2 brilliant restaurants.

Wakefield9303/03/2024Excellent stay at St Valery . We have been to Alnmouth many times , this was our first visit to St Valery . We stayed for three nights mid week in St Benedict with our small dog . It’s a beautiful property , great room very comfortable king bed and great shower. Harvey is an excellent host and happy to share his local knowledge. Great breakfasts nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend.
Widely travelled20/01/2024Fabulous There are loads of great reviews here and all I can say is that they are correct! Harvey is an excellent host and the breakfast he prepared was the best I've had anywhere in the world. There are only 3 rooms so you get very personal treatment and Roxy is a real character. I'm sure we will make an excuse to go back, Almouth is lovely spot.Borochef01/12/2023Best in Alnmouth This will have been our 4th stay with Harvey and Roxy and this place is still magical, Harvey is the most fantastic host with a fountain of knowledge about the local area and such an eye for detail, rooms are stunning we have stayed in all 4 😊 pillows, mattress and duvet to die for. Breakfast is different level and all under the watchful eye of Roxy. There are not enough words to say how unbelievable this place is , a treat a retreat a guilty pleasure call it what you will but go, there are no down sides to this other than we never want to go home 😎
