We don’t have a short breakfast time because we think days should start leisurely. Breakfast runs from 8.30 until 10’ish, but all things are changeable with a little notice.
Everything is freshly cooked to order. Sip a Pilgrims coffee made from their very own roastery on nearby Holy Island. Choose from a large tea selection for those who know their Rington’s brew from their Lapsang Souchong.
St Valery Supper Evenings
Due to the ongoing situation with Covid-19 and the restrictions being placed on restaurants and capacity, we have been trialling a new idea of offering a set 2 course simple supper at St Valery on certain evenings. Dinner is a served at about 7pm and is a relaxed affair – we are unfortunately unable to cater to specific dietary requests/allergies. The menu on the night is subject to change and should be used as a guide. A vegetarian option is possible, but you must let us know at the time of booking.
During August, September & October we will be offering St Valery Suppers on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. During November and December we will be dropping down to just Friday evenings.
Monday – Chicken ruby – Dishoom’s take on a butter chicken, tender chicken in a rich silky ‘makhani’ sauce. A good and proper curry redolent with spice. Followed by treacle tart.
Wednesday – Moussaka – a timeless recipe for a Greek Cypriot classic, Georgina Hayden’s authentic moussaka is as good as it gets. Followed by sticky toffee pud.
Friday – Chicken and chorizo jambalaya – chicken thighs, slow roasted with fresh chorizo, Spanish smoked paprika, tomatoes and coriander create a delicious smoky chicken dish mixed with rice. Followed by sticky toffee pud.

Bottles of our house merlot and house sauvignon blanc are available for £12 or 500ml carafe for £8 or if you just fancy a glass, for £4
(should you wish to bring your own wine, a corkage fee of £5 will be charged)
