You’re on holiday. Let us cook for you.

We don’t have a short breakfast time because we think days should start leisurely. Breakfast runs from 8.45 until 10’ish, but all things are changeable with a little notice.

Everything is freshly cooked to order. Sip a Pilgrims coffee made from their very own roastery on nearby Holy Island. Choose from a large tea selection for those who know their Rington’s brew from their Lapsang Souchong. There’ll be fruit and granola and – because everyone has a secret hankering for Coco Pops every once in a while – lots of cereals.

Covid-19 Update

Due to the ongoing situation with regards to the coronavirus, and in anticipation of there being fewer eating options than normal, we will be testing out a new idea of offering dinner at St Valery on certain evenings (currently Monday, Wednesday and Friday). This will be a set 2 course menu served at 7pm and we are unfortunately unable to cater to specific dietary requests.

The menu for July is:

Monday – Thai sweet potato & red lentil curry, topped with toasted flaked almonds and served with coriander rice.  Followed by maple poached pears with cinnamon mascarpone.

Wednesday – Slow roasted beef chilli con carne, topped with soured cream and served with rice.   Followed by Alnmouth gin & tonic cheesecake.

Friday – Lebanese lamb with apricot and almond couscous, topped with red onion, coriander, feta and pomegranate.  Followed by sticky toffee pudding & cream.

Price per person: £20

500ml carafe of house merlot or house sauvignon blanc: £8

(should you wish to bring your own wine, a corkage fee of £5 will be charged)

Please note the menu may need to be altered at short notice.  It would be really helpful if you could let us know as early as possible (minimum 24 hours) if you will be joining us for dinner.
